With 16 years experience in the sports and fitness industry Lisa has a proven track record in helping athletes get the best from their bodies.
She studied Sports Science with Coaching at Northumbria University where She was part of the women’s rugby team.
She spent 5 years as a full time martial artist and in 2015 won a world title in karate before going on to achieve her first Dan black belt. At this time she started to feel the impact of competitive sport on her body and developed a real interest in sports injuries and how to treat them.
In early 2017 she passed her level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy and she began working alongside an Osteopath treating both sports injuries and chronic back pain, with great success. Lisa is further expanding her knowledge by currently completing her Level 4 Sports Massage qualification.
Lisa has also worked as a Sports Therapist for team Switzerland at the roller derby World Cup gaining valuable experience and expertise.
